Seriously. All I read on this board is that Jarrett is too slow and dumb to make it in the NFL, but when the ball is thrown to him, more often than not he catches it. LaFell couldn't catch a fuging cold today.

Jarrett also isn't afraid to make a catch in traffic and take a hit. There were a couple of occasions today where LaFell could have tried to make a play and take a hit but he opted to keep his feet on the ground and let the ball sail by....

Jarrett is a good WR. One that has never been given a legit chance. The message board bashing is crazy. You can't make plays when a coach won't play you. When Fox is forced to play him he makes plays. Fox IS the problem. They bash him b/c Fox doesn't give him reps. This is a guy who has started Godfrey now for 3 straight years. He plays guys he WANTS to be good and doesn't play guy he doesn't think will be good. All that said, he simply is blind and doesn't put the best man on the field. People don't like Jarrett's stats....but if you look at his actual games and the downs he plays.....he has been a good WR.

Jarrett has always played EXACLTY like the college verison. Fox has only given him a chance on about 4 passing downs on a rare game. He normally still makes a play. He is what he is.

DJ starts next week. It was a big mistake to start Lafell this week, stripping Moore of a WR he's worked with for 2+ years. Moore and Jarret have a better chance of success than Moore and Lafell, atleast at this point.

I mean, think about when he's gotten his catches - two minute drills, where you're not being pressed. think back to last year, think back to when he'd get two catches right before the half and then never be heard from again in a season.
