Doubtful. It's Monday night so they have like 3 hours of football coverage to do. Our highlights from preseason were all Clausen. He'll get at least 5 minutes. Probably will be on PTI and Around the Horn too lol.

plus, love him or hate him, clausen is actually someone they want to talk about. they always have. be ready for a lot more of that.

For whatever reason it happened... Moore is finished... I can't disagree with the decision to change starters.

But I'm very concerned that Clausen is going to wind up in the same position. Playing behind an O-Line that isn't blocking well is a dangerous thing for any QB.

If we start this kid and he gets destroyed with poor ass protection, we'll not only have ended Moore's shot at a starter role, but potentially shell-shocked what could be a franchise QB. This is very risky.

Jimmy will survive being yanked down from that height when he struggles.

He is a rookie. We are just happy we can try something else this next game. Win or lose at least he can have some gametime experience to help him become the QB he can be.

It's gonna depend on Clausen's mentality and persona. If he doesn't have the right mentality, it doesn't matter how long we bury him under shitty QB play, he'll still end up Matt Leinarting his way through the NFL.

I'm excited Foxy went ahead and named him the starter. Unlike Moore, Clausen has the majority of support around the area. For better or worse, in Moore's case, this was really something that was inevitable.
