Stick with Clausen

IMO, the most impressive thing about JC, was that he didn't let that first half get him all flustered. He kept his head and made some plays in the 2nd half.

It sounds crazy, but I didn't see any problems with this entire offense that can't be corrected. There are just a bunch of little things that, if they do them right, they can be successful.

How can you say this but benching Moore is just fine?

hahahahaha......Moore BENCHED HIS DAMN SELF, 4yr Vets arent allowed to MAKE ROOKIE MISTAKES (see redzone vs NYG OR BALL SECURITY vs tampa)

This shouldn't even be in question.

It is depressing that it is.

so depressing it makes me wonder what is there to even consider someone tell me its clear MM is content with being a backup let him be what he is.

Clausen looked like a rookie out there and made plenty of mistakes. But like others have said, it is way too early to pull the plug on him.

This ^^^^^^ looked like a rookie...Moore looked like a rookie and made plenty of mistakes also but his ass has been in the league for 4 yrs started 9 games or so and REGRESSED.

The fumbled snaps, but lots of rookie QBs have that issue.

Did you get this from your notebook, or did you get it from The Notebook? :smilielol5:

The INTs speak from themselves. Clausen has more pocket awareness then Moore dose. He also has a stronger release.

And yet some are still implying that Moore is a better QB, or that it doesn't make a difference if we bench Clausen or not.

The Kid has got to take his lumps. He will be better off for it in the end. Staring down receivers is something that can and will be fixed. Once our O-line (if our O-Line) gets better, we will really see Jimmy begin to really develop into a legitimate starter in this league. Once he figures out what is going on, Clausen will blossom into a star. Anyone who doubts will see.

Easy, he didn't throw 3 INT's in the red zone?!

He's talking about getting benched as a starter. Moore didn't get benched after the first game. He got benched after the second game. He didn't throw an interception in the red zone in the second game. Matt's only interception during the second game happened at the Carolina 20.

But keep spinning. If you fudge the facts enough you may be succesful in creating enough separation between the two to justify something that's hard to justify.
