I'm sorry, but that's another horrible article by Sorensen. It's way too early to say that we've found our quarterback:

The only thing to like about this season is that the Panthers have found their quarterback. Barring injury, Jimmy Clausen is as entrenched at his position as tackle Jordan Gross is at his.

Clausen has offered only glimpses of his potential. But I'm certain he'll be the best passer the Panthers have ever had, and I think he'll be the best quarterback.

I like Clausen and I think he's shown some promise, but it's ridiculous to assume he's going to be the best quarterback we've had. I'm optimistic and hope that's the case.

And if I'm not mistaken, Sorensen's already written a similar article to this one.

Gantt gets a lot of criticism on this forum, but he's far and away the Panthers best beat writer. That's never more apparent than when I read something by Sorensen or Fowler.
