To save season and have a prayer at playoffs: Saints. A must win game.

as I said in another thread..

if we win this game, and the Falcons/Tampa both lose their games, then we are only 1 game back from leading the division. Playoffs really are a possibility if we can get some problems fixed on the field.

also, the Jets went 3-0 last season, and then lost like 6 games in a row, and made it to the AFC Championship game..

Atlanta is not gonna lose at home to sinking 49ers. They have fired their OC and their starting SS just quit on them, all in the last five days.

The 9ers are just horrible, I guess you can always hope for the upset, it's just not gonna happen.

Yeah this is pretty much as much of a must win as we are going to get this season. If we do pull it off and start getting into a groove offensively then I'll hold out some hope. I just don't see it happening unless the coaches get their heads out of their asses and call a winning game plan. Honestly at this point it seems to me that even with Tom Brady and Andre Johnson on this team we wouldn't be winning with the poor coaching offensively. Defensively we are top tier though and that is going to be the sole silver lining that might give us a chance to win.

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
