David Gettis fan club

I'm cautiously optimistic. I remember Steve Smith missing some time early in Keary Colbert's rookie season and KC having a few impressive games (I wanna say Denver and Tampa Bay maybe?). I hope Gettis doesn't pull a Colbert!

I remember that Denver game and it wasn't quite up to par with what Gettis did today. Gettis showed flash, instinct, and precise route running today which are things Keary never had.

I've been on the Gettis bandwagon since TC. You could just see him making progress every week, and it was just a matter of time before he had a breakout game.

Steve Smith pissed me off today though.

yep. Same here. People were saying he'd be lucky to make the PS.

Just saw his interview on fox. Very mature and poised young man. Reminds me of a young moose. I think we're in good shape with this dude at WR!

That's one of the main things that impressed me about Gettis in the beginning. The first time I heard him do an interview, I knew he was a keeper. When you combine intelligence with natural physical abilities, you can't go wrong.

6th round rookie WR playing like a veteran. He was drafted for ST purposes (remember that one?) and won this job in training camp and is improving every single game.

I just can't remember the last time I saw a late draft rookie WR stepping up like this

That one drop was the only mistake he made all game...I was impressed. Let's just hope Moore keeps it up and Gettis gets some nice passes thrown his way.
