Successful NFL with the same Mold as Panthers

Miami Dolphins.

1) Run first team who wants to pound the ball, control the clock and the game

2) Solid Defense.... Bend but don't break

3) A top NFL WR that will attract double teams and make play all over the field.

4) A Young smart QB who manages the game well and makes some plays.

Thoughts?

Let's just remember we were the Dolphins before the Dolphins were the Dolphins.

Heck, they modeled themselves after us, not the other way around.

Remember all those Panther cast-offs they use to sign?

I agree.... I'm not saying we are copying them.... Just if This team was successful, better, or ran the way Fox wants, our teams would be very similar.

Yea that's all cool but the Colts beat them after only having the ball for 10 minutes the entire game last year.

Passing league.

Yea, but there are still teams who are successful running the ball and playing defense. Steelers, Jets to name a few. And Indy beat most teams last year regardless of their style.

Panthers have won being a run first team so I don;t see the point?

    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
