What if Carolina had Kept Keyshawn Johnson so that he could mentor and teach Jarret the ways of the force like he said he was going to do? Did carolina fudge that one? Could Dwayne have been that #2 receiver carolina most desperatly needed under the tutiledge of Keyshawn? Thoughts?

Would Key have helped Jarretts devolopement? Probably would it of made a big difference in turning him into a legit receiver? Probably not... The man had many oppertunitys, did we cut Key to soon knowing he could produce and we didnt forsure have a #2... yes same mistake that has been made 3 times now... Proehl, Key, Moose... I have hope that the franchise will learn after a third time. If there isnt a recovery this season, im sure the new coaching staff will learn from the old reigms mistakes.

I believe it would have made a world of difference did anyone see how excited Key was he would have probably had him staying over some nights just showing him things no one showed him. Yeah he had chances but a positive role model on a young impressionable mind is a wonderful thing. Some people might thinks it nothing but Ive seen Jarrets so called friends here, one of his buddies is my friend so I can speak from first hand knowledge dude was a young man who IN MY OPINION needed a good mentor or leader. Yeah many dont but every person is different Im not trying to divulge all this info so Im going to stop but Key COULD HAVE done wonders for the kid in all seriousness.

EDIT: yes Moose was a good leader but having someone who WANTS to mentor you is different from someone who you should get mentored from. Moose had a family 5 kids to be exact all here Key had nothing but a condo here its a big difference.
