No coaching changes

As per Gantt's twitter, Fox thinks the staff is fine and lineup is fine, and they can get better with both. Probably true, but still frustrating.

So for all of us calling for changes, JR is now our best hope.

Why would JR, a man who has penny pinched at every turn this year, be open to firing a coach with a contract that he will have to pay anyways just so he can hire another coach and have to pay them as well?

You don't need to hire an OC if you fire the current one. You just promote from within for the season. Yes, you still pay the OC, but now you've sent a message to the fans and the players you're not happy either. You let the coaches know (and tbh, the HC is usually really a big part of firing coordinators) that they are accountable too. But since nobody can fire JR, he'd probably feel too guilty pushing Fox to fire anyone.

I don't expect Fox fired (for the reasons you guys have said), but OC is a totally different ballgame.

Fox is just being loyal because he will be gone in 3 months. Once you are out the door and this team isn't going anywhere you just keep as many friends as you can.

No burning bridges for Fox. he is working on his resume afterall

If the team never generates any offense, it'll look much worse than if he fires Davidson and it does.

I like how the fact the team is going to only practice two days this week and have the rest of it off. I know they have bye week, but they look pathetic. They need to have that offense out there for as much practice time as they can. Hell, I would be running two-a-days until next week.
