Your Internal Narrator

Recommended Posts

I am presently studying to take the PMP exam. This of course means that I am once again reading textbooks. Goody gumdrops.

So to pass the time, and to make reading reams and reams of pages a little less painful, I am mixing up my internal narrator. I went from Charlie (from Charlie's Angels) to Morgan Freeman, to Barack Obama (really it's the AlphaCat guy's Barack Obama), and I've finally settled on Dave Chappelle's rendition of Samuel L. Jackson. I feel he best captures the urgency needed in Project Management. And I'm not gonna lie, it actually makes reading these chapters fun.

Anyway, I know some people can't do that; hear someone else's voice in your head. But if you can, who do you use?

I don't know if I could concentrate on what I was reading if I did that. Still cool though.

good topic. for me its either owen wilson or sam elliott.

as for the pmp. welcome to my world. i don't have the pmp but with what i do i might as well. the disdain for green and black belts and lean and toll gates is equal to that of root canals and eating marbles dipped in arsenic while being set on fire by trantula's

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
