Beginning to believe...

...based on what I'm reading from the beat writers and the team site (throwing in Catman's practice observations for good measure) that Matt Moore may get another shot at starting in the next game.

Even if he doesn't start, he may well be inserted if Clausen has a tough time, and probably a lot earlier than the last game (maybe after halftime).

Whether that should happen is debatable, but I'm seeing evidence that it will.

I think the only reason you start Matt Moore is if you think Clausen's development is being severely hurt as a result of poor play by the line and receivers. I really don't think they should have started Clausen when they did, but I feel that if you're going to pull Moore and let Clausen have his shot, you've got to give him the full season.

It's clear that winning games just doesn't really matter this year. This isn't to say the team's not trying, but more that we need to see some development out of players like Clausen and these young receivers.

I believe that as well and I also believe that is actually happening. Matt needs another opportunity without having to look over his shoulder.

The coaching staff really doesnt care anymore. its a sad situation to watch for the fans. The only thing I can look forward to now on sundays is to be drunk and hope for the best.

I'm not quite there yet, you know at the bare minimum there is pride. If Fox doesn't at least have that left to try and make something out of this season, he needs to retire all together then.

I agree. Since game 2, I've looked at 2010 as an extended pre-season.

We are the Cleveland Browns under Romeo Crennel. 2006-2007

Lame Duck coach

Jeff Davidson Offensive Coordinator for both teams.

Rip Scherer QB coach for both teams.

Anderson (Oregon State-6th round)/Quinn(ND)= Moore(Oregon State-UD)/Clausen(ND)

::chills::

There are minor discrepancies, however...

Hurney is pretty good at drafting, but coaching hires....

What the fug?

Why am I surprised by our retardation?

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
