Glazer thinks Fox to the boys in 11

My friend the Cowboys fan doesn't like the idea, but does say that Fox is like Lombardi compared to Wade Phillips, making the point that Fox took a team with Jake Delhomme at QB to a Superbowl and NFC Championship, and that other than Jake he can't remember the Panthers being as undisciplined and sloppy than the current Cowboys team (when we had a good team that is). He wants Gruden first though. It's funny how outside perspectives of other fans are so much different than our own.

I think Gruden has already extended his broadcasting contract for at least the next year.

Jerry Jones is very willing to pay market value for the guy he wants.

He just tends to overestimate (sometimes wildly) what "market value" actually is.

As far as the story, Glazer is a guy I always take seriously.

And I'd agree a Jones-Cowher combo probably wouldn't work.

As for me, I would hate to see it happen. I can just see all the see-i-told-you-Fox-was-God threads in the Huddle, oblivious to the fact that the two situations are almost the antithesis of one another. We may be one game apart in the win-loss column, but we're light years apart as far as experience (and probably talent).

Bill Cowher is only going to a team that he can control, which is he isn't going to Dallas. unless Jones is willing to share some of the work (yea right). Fox will make a nice puppet, he'll bring some discipline, but once hes out of here, fug him. I just hope we have a coach that will get us over the hump.

John Fox bristles when the rare tough question comes at him from gutless Charlotte reporters. Just how do you really think he'll be able to deal with all of the media attention that would come from being the Dallas head coach?

He wasn't like that the first two years. I think the organization rubbed off on Fox, not vice versa.
