If we lost the Arizona game ...

If it had been competitive? Probably not. But I'm not sure about the question. This happens in every part of life. Do a bad job, lose your job. Lose the raise you just got. Lose the promotion you just got. If the war had gone the way Bush wanted there would still be people who would have wanted him out. It one thing to lose with honor and dignity, it is a whole other thing to be blown out and not even look to be trying. And it wasn't the first time this past season.

I've wanted Turd canned for years. The Arizona game just put a spotlight on all the things I hate about his defense.

This.

In the last 7 games of the season, including playoffs our defense gave up 45, 31, 23, 10, 34, 31, 33 points.

Jake had a bad last game, the defense had a bad last half.

Jake had less TD passes in the 2nd half of the season, but threw more INT's in the second half of the season.

His completion % was higher though in the second half.

So really he didn't exactly have a stellar year.

I do agree though, trust me, our defense is a bigger issue than Jake's play.

That really depends on how the score came to be 20-21. If we played like complete ass... I would still be concerned. If we played damned good football and they simply played 1 point better... then hell no I would not be as pissed off as I am now.

:iagree: The big issue I have is not that the Panthers lost, (yes that did suck), but how they lost. They laid an egg, and were horrible!! I thought this Panther team was past that, but apparently not.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
