KG worst person in the NBA?

Every time we play the Celtics this guy tries to start a fight. He did the same thing against the Heat in the playoffs. Now I read this today:

Following the Pistons loss to the Celtics Tuesday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills, Detroit forward Charlie Villanueva took to his Twitter account and accused Boston's Kevin Garnett of calling him a "cancer patient."

"KG called me a cancer patient, I'm pissed because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he's tossing it like it's a joke," Villanueva tweeted.

He then followed up with, "I wouldn't even trip about that, but a cancer patient, I know way 2 many people who passed away from it, and I have a special place 4 those"

Villanueva has a medical condition called alopecia universalis, one of the side effects of which is an inability to grow hair. The condition is an autoimmune skin disease and is not otherwise life-threatening.

Pathetic on KG's part imo. I don't mind trash talk but you don't have to go disparaging cancer patients and insulting peoples medical conditions.

He doesn't have cancer either. KG is just talking trash. Grow a pair people.

Yeah but that's the first thing that comes to mind when you see him. I can understand why he gets upset over that. Cancer isn't something to joke about. I don't mind trash talking but I think the subject of cancer is a bit low.

A quote from my friend I trained with for JUCO... "He's a bullsh*tter. He's the great pretender."

I didn't really get that when he first said it because I always looked up to KG growing up. He came in the L when I was 10 or so and kids my age just bought into the hype. But, after my friend said that I started watching him more and disliking him more. He's a bully and he's not a good one.

The cherry on top was the "Anything is possible" scream at the end of the finals. It felt so forced and insincere. All the antics during games... Slamming his head into the foam padding under the goal... The faces he makes... He's just full of b.s.

And he's overrated as a player. He should've been able to win one in Minny by himself. He should've taken games over with his abilities and he didn't. I watched this guy hit 13 straight from the elbow in warmups, miss one, and then hit like 13+ more in a row. He puts on all that front to keep people off the slacker scent. I've really gotten tired of him.

He was a douche in High School. Always talked trash and the refs always gave him calls. He also stole poo out of people's lockers, did what ever he wanted to, and obviously never gave two shits about class.

They never could get past us in the playoffs though...bitch.

    • To all the analysts who said "Caps in 5", thank you for telling us their departure time.
    • We won't know the answer to this for a long time. Reality is, Caleb has been the consensus #1 in that draft for years. Bryce was a similar situation, but mostly the same. He was not the clear and obvious #1 that Caleb was, but most teams had Bryce at QB1. The Panthers were always going to be terrible Bryce's rookie year.  I don't think DJ Moore's presence would have changed anything about that offense, as our guards, center, and left tackle were getting demolished on nearly every snap. It's clear Caleb's dad was trying to do everything possible to ensure Caleb didn't end up in Chicago with Eberflus. It's hard to imagine that he wouldn't have done the same, but probably more publicly with our situation, considering Carolina is an easier target for the media than Chicago. We can all speculate, but it's impossible to tell who is going to have the better career on May 16, 2025. If either QB doesn't pan out, we have an easy answer. If both flame out, the bears clearly won the trade, but it wouldn't have really mattered anyway. We all know how we win the trade. Candidly, even if one of the other picks we gave up ends up being a hall of fame player, we don't know if the panthers would have taken that player anyway. All you can do is make the best decision you can in the moment with the information you have. I really like Bryce Young, and I'm glad he's a Carolina Panther.  The only way to win in the modern NFL is to have an absolute dude at QB. I personally am happy that our franchise recognizes this, as I remember times when they did not.
