I think we're set up for a win next week...

Much as I hate to say it, because I hate hate hate losing, I'm not sure I want to see us win.

Outside of pride, what does it gain us?

No way I'd ever cheer against my team, but realistically, winning this season isn't necessarily in ou best interests.

I feel that we have a chance to beat Cleveland, Seattle, Arizona, and then Atlanta in the last game if they rest their starters. Fox is known for late season winning. If Clausen plays well, he may play us out of the #1 pick and the chance to draft his replacement in Luck. Irony at it's best, I'd say. We would still get a top ten pick though, but not Luck.

Instead of hoping that we keep losing, hope the rest of the teams in the league keep winning so we don't have to lose games to get the #1 pick. It's a win/win people!

Honestly I want the team at a minimum to keep games competitive so they have some swagger for next year. We aren't that far from a playoff team honestly.

All "The Saint" did was get rid of the ball as soon as he got it. We were throwing 3 yard passer hoping our receivers got open. Going the whole game finally having a completely open receiver. Kind of like we were just maintaining but not really attacking. Don't see how we can win doing that unless the other team messes up a lot.

St. Pierre isn't going to be playing anymore.

Clausen will play and continue to do better.

lol @ brian st. diarrhea, seriously though there are only 3 games left the Panthers have a chance at winning

@ the Browns- least likely in my opinion

home against the Cardinals- The battle of whose qb throws more pick sixes

last game against ATL- if they rest their starters of course

I could see us win all three, and I could see us lose all three. I think if we do win those, a 4 win panthers would beat out, Cincy who will be the lowest team, but that isn't happening so don't you Luck fans worry

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
