Is it our OC or Fox

I've been watching some other teams run their offense and they obviously have a much better gameplan than we do. I remember when we thought that Dan Henning was the worst OC ever and we released him only for him to be inovative in Miami. Is it our OC or is it Fox holding us back?

both.

Opponents simply know what we are doing. Staff seems fine with that. In today's NFL that is how you lose.

thats pretty much what phins fans are saying about henning and why he's most likely fired after the season.

wildcat ran its course and that's all henning had.

I also hear that hennigs route tree as simplistic as my daughters sesame street books. sound familiar?

How is his route tree simplistic?

There are only so many routes a WR can run. One route tree is no different from any other. Am I missing something?

Route Tree:

0 - Shallow Hitch

1 - Quick out

2 - Slant

3 - Out

4 - Hook

5 - Deep Hitch

6 - In

7 - Corner

8 - Post

9 - Go/Fly

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
