We absolutley should resign Deangelo...

after thinking it over I think we should definitely keep him..

with Steve Smith most likely gone, he becomes the most dynamic player on offense

he's not going to ask for a ton of money

when the going gets tough he's the only RB that can still churn out the yards. Stewart doesn't have much elusiveness and Goodson doesn't have all that much power.

we have a ton of cap room we can probably fit him in

he's a good teamate on a team that will need some vets to lead the way

he's still good for a few more years and he doesn't have too many NFL miles on his body

No question about it. I would rather trade Goodson. He will be good for 4-5 more years, and maybe 1-2 + if Stewart is here to offset the workload. Im not a big fan of Goodson, but what he does do is provides that change of pace. With D will and Stew you are getting alot of the same back... and even sutton for that matter. Goody is more of that slasher type. If he held on to the ball better I would say keep him.

There is no way we trade jstew. Even for the picks we'd get, it does not make sense. No rookie we draft at any position will make an impact like he does, and this is only his third year. Minus all of two training camps.

Since when does getting picks for players at a position we have decent depth not make sense.

all Stewart needs is a slight hole. Gotta give him that. I hope DWill stays but I won't lose sleep over him leaving. We got the RBs to run regardless.......we need to offense to come from somewhere else. He is the back to go if part of Double Trouble leaves.

No way we should let him walk. we need to resign him to a friendly contract and then either keep him or trade him. That way we get something for him. We have already let peppers walk for free, we need to either keep our first rounders or trade them when they still have value.

Yep.

Runningbacks are easy to find so their value is never very high. We've proved that.

He's worth more to us than anybody would be willing to give up for him.

Runningbacks usually never make it through any season healthy especially an 18 game one. It helps to have depth.

It would hurt more than it helps.

why trade any of them? even if DeAngelo got the biggest running back deal(no way that happens) it's only around $6 or $7 million a year. Stewart is locked up for a while, and I'm pretty sure Goodson is too. Jamaal Charles recently signed a contract extension worth somewhere around $30 million dollars, with $13 million guaranteed. That's nothing and he is one of the best running backs in the NFL. DeAngelo will almost certainly get less than that.

running backs go down like flies in the NFL. you absolutely have to have depth at that position. we need to keep all of our running backs. they're the only consistent thing we've got on offense.

running backs are for the most part replaceable, so you aren't going to get much in return. it wouldn't be worth letting either of them walk for a 4th round draft pick(at best.)

    • Tepper makes the wrong decision in literally every case. It's laughable at this point. It is as hard as getting every single decision right. Give me one example of one thing he's got correct in 8 fuging years. It's no surprise that promoting the assistant GM that worked for the worst GM that I've ever seen was a mistake. This goes all the way back to insisting that Ron run a 3-4 and the defense goes to complete poo and we suck. That decision in my opinion cost us 3 or 4 more seasons of the greatest middle linebacker to ever do it.
    • Currently Cam and Bryce have the exact same career completion percentage at 59.9. The differences in their play/career arcs are immense, however.
    • LOL we have been talking about fixing Bryce Youngs footwork for almost 3 years now.if his footwork has shown little to no improvement in that amount of time then you might have to come to the realization while at the same time using a little common sense it's not natural to Bryce Young with his small stature/ size to step up in the pocket plant his feet & drive the ball from the back leg to the front leg while remaining stable.no instead you see BY becoming easily overly excited & then as a result starts alot of unessary scrambling & hopping around & maybe it's not necassirly he is scared all the time & it has more to do with his height & he is trying to find the right angles for visual purposes whatever it is he  puts himself in a position where he cannot stay balanced when he throws the ball & anytime you throw the ball unbalanced it not only effects your power but it also effects your accuracy/ timing point being the real problem with Bryce Youngs bad footwork is his small size ...just saying
