If we did trade Smith what could we get in draft picks?

I think he is every bit worth a third round pick. The Pats have a mid 3rd from the Moss trade. It is just to type of lateral upside moves they usually make. Moss unhappy ditch him and bring in hungry Smitty. Give me a extra third to address either DT or OG.

depends on the teams record that we trade him to really. If you do it before the trade deadline thats one thing, but now you have to wait until the offseason and teams know exactly where their picking. That being said, if we trade him it'll be either cuz A. he wants to go to a contender or B.the new coach doesent want him poisoining Andrew Luck.

That being said late third or early 4th if it were to happen.

Most likely nothing more than a 4th at this stage in his carreer. The best we could do would be a 3rd, but I can't think of a single team in the league where SS would be the missing link to a Champoinship.

He would be a nice addition for a few teams (and no, not the Pats), but not so needed that anybody would be willing to trade the potential of a 3rd for 3-4 years of play for a guy who is essentially a slot reciever at this point in his carreer.

Texans come to mind. Would be a great with Shaub fit and they could use a threat on the other side.

What about the Ram with 2 guys i have barely heard of?

Maybe even Bears or Packers

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
