...is nothing to fug with. If you know someone that has it, stay away. I just had to take an ambulance ride because I couldn't breathe and it felt like I had a constant runner's cramp in my side. No position standing, sitting, or laying down was tolerable. I was writhing in pain for about an hour before I decided to go to the hospital. By that time, it was so bad I broke down and hit 911 and got some oxygen in me. I thought my lungs were going to stop accepting air.

I caught something at work and I'm on day 11 of being sick. Don't see much point in getting a flu shot now. This bug is wicked. Venom will probably say the government created it.

I thought I was going to die. I bet I was taking a breath every 2 seconds and it did absolutely no good. Hurt like hell to clear my lungs, or even burp. Burping was actually worse. I could see how something like this could kill someone in frail shape.

I've had flu like symptoms with fever since monday. Got better on thurs. I felt pretty good last night and I wanted to go out on a friday. I only had a few drinks but that lowered my immune system enough now I have more of a cold now. I didn't get sick all year but i guess it fits to get sick when it's all cold out.

This is my second week out of work with this mess. I ended up in the ER week before last. Pain in my chest, couldn't breathe, felt like I was drowning when I was laying down, coughing some, swelling in my hands and feet. I honestly thought I was having congestive heart failure, and I did have some fluid around my heart. Finally diagnosed with acute bronchitis. I was out a week that time.

Went back to work last Monday, and this crap hit again with a vengeance last Friday. I can't talk, coughing to the point I dry heave, no energy, runny nose. I hurt so bad in my sides and back from coughing. This poo is kicking my ass. I haven't been to work this time since last Friday.

I've not decorated my house for Christmas, haven't finished shopping, no rum balls, no sausage balls, no cookies, nothing. All I've done is the tree, and that's because we got it right after Thanksgiving.

*Forgot to mention the headache. OMG it's terrible. And when I cough lights explode around my eyes and my head feels like it's going to explode.

My sides and back and chest hurt even though I hadn't been coughing much. I figured I had pulled a muscle.

This mess going around right now will inflame the cartilage around your ribcage until you think you're going to stop breathing. Its nasty and I think its just now starting to hit.

My swelling in my hands and feet were due to my heart. I had to stay overnight taking lasix to get rid of the fluid.

i have something, although its nowhere near as bad as what has been mentioned on here... managed to make it into work today despite my head housing several gallons of liquid phlegm. god bless double doses of dayquil.

Yeah, no phlem or stuffy nose here. For a minute it doesn't even seem like I'm sick. That could be the vics though.

They took chest xrays, so hopefully they would have seen any fluid around my heart. Kinda feels like that though. A very horrible experience and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
