great at blocking, he's no threat for mismatches at receiver but if he gets a well thrown ball with a window he usually makes the catch.

depending on which coach comes in I'd be fine if he stuck around.

We need a TE that is a real threat, not just blocking TEs...hopefully that will change with the new coach and we already have one on the team and will be used more as a receiving TE.

I would be surprised if King was back next year unless we can get him for cheap and he is a back-up. He is pretty much average at everything. Average blocker and average catcher. We really need a GREAT tight end to help whoever our young QB will be next year.

I am not sold on Rosario, but I think he has more upside than King. Rosario just doesn't seem to make a play when we need one.

Rosario is far too inconsistent. King is never going to be an elite receiving threat. Barnidge took the whole season off.

Owen Daniels was once an elite TE before he was injured and he may be available at a pretty reasonable contract. Or I'd love to move up into the 2nd if Kyle Rudolph drops.

you almost can't blame barnidge though. 3rd string doesn't see too much action other than special teams. but yeah, it seemed like he regressed.
