This is an awesome feel good story. Hopefully he can stay on the right track and better himself for the long haul. Hell, I'd love to hear about him winning a Marconi award... or hell... even hosting one.

I heard this story on the radio this morning, although I came in about halfway through, so I didn't know he was homeless until now (I thought it was just a big deal because he had a perfect radio voice).

But I remember them saying that he will be making $100,000 by this time next year, assuming he keeps his nose clean, literally.

last year they had a homeless guy come in who was a musician to play guitar and sing and recently some news site posted that the guy got a record deal

Thought so...he really does have a great rock voice. It's amazing to me how people with real talent let alcohol and/or drugs ruin their lives, and we get stuck with pooty "artists". It's great he's getting a shot.
