Why did I click on this thread... WHY

What? You didn't want to see shirtless Rob Ryan pics?

is there any way we can hire him but not have him coach? I mean, I'm totally sold on him as a face of the organization, I just don't know if I want him coaching yet.

Not so sure about him as the face of the organization.

The gut of the organization? that I could see

(or the mouth) :incazzato:

I'm not sold on this guy either, I think people are high on him due to how successful his brother and dad have been. I don't really think he's comparable to them though, he's basically the retard of the family. A George W if you would. And I'd really rather not raid the Browns for more coaches, just sayin...

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
