Harbaugh to Miami: 99% Done

Shows you a bit about Jim Harbaugh the person, the way this is going down, IMO.

Just sayin'...he is pretty much following the dbag playbook I have long accused him of right from jump street.

Do you know more of the story about where he slugged Jim Kelly?

Was listening to "The Press Box with Ken Deedo" on 860 am on my way to work today and Kiwakami was on. I recorded most of it with my iPhone voice recorder, is there a way to post that conversation here?

Nothing major, Kiwakami said that basically if you are paying a guy $8MM/year, you're gonna listen to him over the guy making $1MM regardless of title. Said that Miamis owner is a Michigan man?

Basically if you want me to make dinner, let me buy the groceries.

Don't agree. He hadn't signed with 49ers and dolphins come in offering 2million more a year and in a no income tax state like Florida vs heavy tax of CA. Would you not do the same thing?

Captain Oveur: Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?

Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before?

Joey: No sir, I've never been up in a plane before.

Captain Oveur: You ever seen a grown man naked?

Captain Oveur: Joey, have you ever been in a... in a Turkish prison?

Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News reports that "indications are" Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh will accept Miami's record-setting contract offer and become the Dolphins' next head coach.

Kawakami acknowledges that it's "not a done deal," but Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is reportedly willing to continue to increase his already monster offer if the 49ers improve theirs. It's clearly come down to a matter of money, and Ross is willing to pony up more. The Niners have reportedly halted negotiations with Harbaugh since offering him $5 million annually. Ross' standing offer is at $7-8 million, and may eventually exceed that. Jan. 6 - 12:32 pm et
