Isn't there a crazy stat that if a QB spends 4 years in college instead of 3 he is more likely to be a better nfl qb? I can't find it but I firmly remember ESPN doing a segment on it.

You make it seem like he turned the keys to the car over to Manning and Bradford. He made very clear early in his career his intention to stay in school. Whether or not you think that's the correct decision is explicitly irrelevant. Also, the inability to realize that in life, sports is but a blip on the map is strange.

So to say he "let someone else choose his destiny" is asinine. You're probably just another butthurt fan.

Excuse the kid for making an informed decision, doing what he said he wanted to do all along (and that's stay in school) and getting some advice from people who have been there before.
