I don't know if it was predicting the snap count or freak reflexes but I've never seen someone come off the ball as quick as Jenkins. I haven't seen him play in ages, but I'd sign him in a heartbeat if he still has that quickness. Depends on his salary expectations, if bottom fed I don't consider it very likely but anythings possible.

In the 03 playoff game against the Cowboys, Brentson Buckner noticed that Quincy Carter wiggled his fingers just before every snap and passed it along to Jenkins.

Jenkins used it to jump the snap count all game. Nobody on the Cowboys staff - led by Barry Switzer - caught on to what he was doing.

For the record, there were plenty of other games when Jenkins tried to jump the count and instead wound up drawing a flag.

i saw somewhere that he said he wanted to move back to Charlotte after he retired. To be honest, if the Jets want to cut their losses, i wouldn't mind bring him in for the 4-3 looks and/or 3rd downs.

he was being a little condescending when he said that.. what he said (paraphrasing) was Charlotte was a great place to retire and get old.

by no means was he saying he wanted to come back to Charlotte and play football at any point of his career..

06 rucker became worthless and halfway through peppers stopped caring. i firmly believe halfway through 2006 was when the team lost julius. jenkins didn't like how there was absolutely no sense of accountability for certain players and decided that fox played favorites. 2006 was a year when nothing went right and things should have. that was as bad a coaching job as 2004 was a good one and jenks hated it

truth... 2006 should have been a great year...

It would make more sense to play Nick Hayden..Who I think SUCKS!

Kris Jenkins would just sulk and have a bag of Krystal Burgers in his lap as hes rehabbing from his 12th ACl/MCL/ruptured Spleen/excessive back-fat injury.

Hayden better not be on the roster next season..So Hayden was better than Tank Tyler...I mean like really?

Sleep Apnea killed Reggie White..or caused his heart attack.

    • If we don't extend him, there is no way another team would offer him more than a one year $10m prove it deal lol.
    • He isn’t but looking at what those guys are getting paid, paying him what he’s making now wouldn’t have been terrible, they should have and still should be looking at pairing some guys with brown to form a pretty dominant d line
    • The Bryce hate is nearly laughable.  He looked like garbage the first two games, but has really, really shown improvement and growth.  People who know football are taking notice.  Will Bryce ever be Arron Rodgers, Farvre, Manning or any other hotshot gunslinger?  No, but I think he is a smart football player who has survived a lot more than most other QB's would have after 2.5 years.  So long as this injury doesn't linger I think you will see legitimate growth over the next two years, with a big leap coming next season. Reich and Brown not working together, Duce causing trouble behind the scenes.  Starting WR's of Mingo and Chark.  No legitimate scheme for the OL.  Fitterer's general incompetence. An owner who was desperate for attention.  How did Zac Wilson, Mariota, Winston, Tribuski, Rosen, Lawarence, Fields, Jones, Pickett, and Richardson fair after 2.5 years?  We see what happens when the Texans have not given Stroud the support. The 2018 draft had great talent, they just needed to mature, hell we wasted two of the top three drafted that year.  Outside of Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, or Drake Maye, I'm not sure I really would want any other 1st round QB drafted in the past 10 years? RELAX......  Bryce is our guy as we grow as a team.  The only other option I currently see is maybe a buy low draft pick on Drew Allar if he falls to the third round or lower. Bryce is going to be extended.  He won't get Prescott money which would benefit our team going forward.  A mid range extension like Darnold or Baker got may be just the thing this team needs to keep growing.
