He was 1 TD shy of throwing for 3X as many TDs as our entire QB roster.

He threw for less INTs than our entire roster. (and Carson played bad for Carson).

Yes, Carson isn't the 05 Carson but how can he not improve this QB situation? I mean, a bad Carson is much much better than anything we got......just imagine if he went back and started looking more like his old self.......

Trading for Palmer is stupid. Plain and simple. The only way this might effect us is if cincy wants to move from 4th to 1st to draft gabbert. I could see them and the bills wanting him. I'd make that trade with their 2nd. Gabbert goes 1 then we get whomever is left of fairley bowers and green.

I've liked Palmer ever since USC. I say do it. Even with an elbow injury he put up solid stats. He's had enough of the circus of Cincy.

So, you're comparing Palmer to the worst qb situation in the league?.. Yeah, that's really logical. He didn't "play bad for Carson," he's been bad since his injury. HE's throwing to future hall of famer, Terrel Owens, who is still a very good receiver, as well as Chad Johnson who is a great 1 receiver. He's behind a solid offensive line and gets good support from the run. Tell me how a good qb wins 4 games under those circumstances.

Sure, he might improve our situation by winning 1 or 2 games more games, but he's no longer the QB he was even 2 years ago. I would rather pay players like DeAnglo and Charles Johnson than sign that piece of poo.
