Indirectly to do with the Panthers due to the implications of the CBA

I can see more and more players starting to feel the heat as it get's closer to the deadline. I wouldn't be surprised to see more comments like this seep out over time. The thing is he is right, the reps are focus on the big numbers when the guys making less are essentially going to get butt raped.

With just 32 owners to stay 'calm' and thousands of players on the other side, I can see only one way this will end up.

When referring to the head union rep, was he talking about D. Smith?

“Honestly, I don’t give a damn if they get mad at me or not,” Cromartie said. “But it’s getting to the point where it’s getting ridiculous when everything is always dealing with money. You’re basically dealing with people’s livelihoods… You’re dealing with hundreds of thousands of other people in this workplace from the venues to everyone else. To me, you need to stop bitching about it. If you want to say that you want to get into a room and meet. Then, do it. Don’t just talk about it.”

“You got our head union rep acting like an a-hole,” Cromartie added. “They got their guys acting like a-holes. So they just need to get their sh-- together and just get it done.”

I presume head union rep is Smith

Cromartie just telling it like it is, LOL

This is why he's one of my favorite players in the league, and I agree with him. They need to talk, and get some kind of deal hammered out. Both sides need to get their egos in check, because I want to see some football next year

    • I mean, you probably should've waited after the season is over before "going there," that way we we'd have four more games of comparison and discussion. Don't get me wrong, I occasionally go out on a limb, but Bryce just had his best game and has given people hope (which could realistically be false hope), and Shedeur just doesn't have that many games under his belt (even if he does look promising), one of them being against the Titans. No harm in being patient and letting things play out.  If you noticed, Tepper seems to be taking a wait-and-see attitude, and he didn't mention Bryce in the clip in the other thread. I'm still highly skeptical of Bryce (and glad that Sanders has shown an ounce of success), but the reality is that we have to let things play out. The Sanders train left long ago (if it was even here). But,there are more realistic options if Bryce turns back into a frog.
    • imagine thinking that talking about our next opponent is "gassing up" someone.... and then lying about basic info because it's not flattering to the league's worst starting QB since he arrived.  as a starter he is 2-3 (just a fact) as a starter vs Bryce this year pass yards per game - Shough rush yards per game - Shough comp % - Shough  QB rating - Shough yards/per attempt - Shough and Shough is only good for a 2nd year rookie thrust into the gig on a bad team.   He is getting graded on a curve of what he is.  And he won the last head to head vs us, and looked like the best QB on the field that day.   there are a billion red flags when it comes to Bryce Young.  This is just another.
    • Imagine gassing up a 2-4 QB for a terrible division rival with stats worse than our QB in every category except raw yards per game
