No, but some people are so trivial, that they will make a thread every week the Broncos win. I could care less about them.

Disagree, I think threads to bash Fox would more likely be made when the Broncos lose thanks to Foxball.

However I see your point of dumbass posters talking about how we should have never ridded ourselves of Fox, but then again the Panthers will be winning and the Broncons wont so their point will be moot. Or vice versa.

Either ways Fox and Bronco threads will be made, no matter how unwanted they are.

Now you're getting into my thinking.

The only thing I want to see in this season is improvement over last year. I look at this as a rebuilding year, so even if we only finish in the 5-11 to 7-9 range, I'll be okay. Given our situation, 8-8 would probably be overachieving.

Could we surprise and actually build a winning team in Rivera's first year? Sure, but I'm not about to go into the season with my hopes that high, not with where we are now.

What I expect though is that if we do have a four to six win year and the Broncos have greater success or make the playoffs, you're gonna have a load of folks screaming that the team made a huge mistake with Rivera and would have been better off with Fox. The same people who hammer Jerry Richardson and Marty Hurney will be at it again and screaming that we'll never be contenders.

You know how this thing works :nonod:

Well doesn't Fox really kind of have to? He is due for a winning season, another losing season and his record starts to slip. Another losing season after that and he becomes one of the worst coaches ever I am sure, even another average season would dent his worth pretty bad. Not sure about the Bronco team so maybe not, but it seems he doesn't have a lot of room to play with.

I don't understand why people would just want to see Fox fail. I mean, yes, he far run out his welcome here in Carolina, but he also led as to a Superbowl and two NFC title games. We had some of our worst times with him, but also some of the best. I am very glad that he is gone now, but don't tell me that all of us didn't think he was a good-really good coach when he led our 2-14 team to a Superbowl in just two seasons. I hope Fox does well there... I just hope the Panthers do the best.
