I mean I respect Owen Marecic as much as the next guy but the 21st ranked prospect!!

Newton going to ARZ at #5 is a little :eek: especially when he's ranked 4th on the his QB draft chart and not even in the first round........

If ARZ really wants Newton enough to take him #5, then we should definately pressure ARZ to move up and take him #1......I don't see that happening......but does ARZ really want Newton enough to pull the trigger at #5?

It would be worth researching a bit.

I think the more likely scenario would be a smokescreen of us taking Gabbart and then trying to work a trade with Arizona for them to move up and grab him. We could then sit back and get a guy like Dareus, Green (if he gets past Cincy), Aku or Quinn (Bowers will be drafted by Fox).....

I would love it if we can trade down a few spots, and then pick up a 2nd and Dareus. That would be a huge win. We have to hope that a few top guys have great combines to get everyone slobbering all over them. Then we have a chance.

Yeah, that's pretty insane. It also makes it pretty hard to take this guy seriously.
