RB coach coming Friday?

I just wanna take a moment to thank Jerry and the F.O. for personally taking the U.S. unemployment problem on their shoulders. We'll have enough coaches for a b/u squad pretty soon if we need one. :D

Seriously, tho I like pretty much agree with most of the coaches hired and I believe the more the better. More expertise with more styles might be what we need to light the fire. Hopefully, the will all coalesce.

I don't think we've hired any coaches out of the ordinary have we?

I don't think so. At least we didn't do like the Eagles and promote our OL coach to DC. If you use that as a standard we've done pretty damn good.

Edit: you were probably talking about quantity and I was refering to quality.

Not sure how I feel either, but I have a feeling they'd only go college at that particular position for D.Will.

Their RB coach is Sedrick Irvin (Michael's cousin). No real connections I know of and he's only been there a year.

The strength coach there is a two year teammate of Rivera's though (Tom Myslinski; played for the Jags too).

You're thinking though. I applaud.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
