codd5 zombies were better but still very fun and COD is teh best online shooter alongside battlefield. Halo I really don't like but those games in the series were more similar than the CODs. Eventually someone will rival them and things will change, although they are good they don't have to eleae them once a year thats redundant. And it would keep more players online longer make more maps. Just need to get rid of activision butchering it for a sale every time.

Surprisingly black ops surprised the sh*t outta me. I had my doubts since Treyarch was releasing it, as i wasn't a fan of "World at War," but ive since concluded its a more refined version of MW2, given their similarities.

I see Halo/CoD apples to oranges, yeah they're both FPS but thats were the similarities end.

Halo: Reach is also IMO the best FPS since CoD4 in terms of overall quality and balance of gameplay.

CoD4 was the best CoD ever. They weren't as big back then and needed a huge game to get fans hooked, I guess once that happened they could put out inferior products after that. I remember playing CoD4 for 5-6 hours a day, and it didn't get old, even in the 2 (yes I said it), 2 years I played it (since WaW was not fun to me). It's kind of funny, the only issues I remember on that game was nade spammers and modded controllers.

MW2 wasn't a bad game, but it was a step down. The graphics were better than previous games, and they had some good ideas. The maps were pretty good overall, but still forgettable. Killstreaks were way overpowered, knifing was stupid, UMP was stupid, but overall it was ok.

Black Ops improves on a few things from MW2. Killstreaks are more balanced, knifing was fixed a bit but is still stupid, and a few other things. However, the graphics of Black Ops are barely better than CoD4 (which was years ago), the hit detection is HORRIBLE, it handles lag/host really bad compared to previous games, weapon balancing is an all time bad on this game, and the maps are really boring and forgettable. I put Bops and MW2 on the same page. However, if they put the great things from each together, it would be an amazing game. But they want you to keep coming back hoping for that.

Activision already proved with the termination of Guitar Hero this week that all they care about is money, and money now. They don't care about running things into the ground.

It's really time for a new FPS to take over.

Eh not really the design and such yeah but I mean I use to play MOH:AA all the time online back in the day. They did really good with that franchise and they left, thats when MOH kinda went down hill. Then COD came out and it was pretty good. There only competition was MOH again and Band of Brothers which the concept was cool, but it just was over hyped and didn't really do much.

COD kept getting bigger then they designed stuff for the xbox etc and it blew up and now we are where we are now. Kinda how they left MOH they left COD.
