Yep. Only way I'd NOT take him is if you can get picks through trade downs.

4 picks to choose from honestly will all the issues the Panthers have especially if Moore is back. Fairley, Bowers, Peterson, or Green. I personally would take Green because this is a deep WR year and he's the lone standout among them. Do you risk trying to get Floyd next year when QB may be hanging over your head again?

If I was absolutely confident that Jimmy C was going to get his act together, work on his game, come out of the offseason and prove to himself and the team that he is the guy to build around, then I would draft Green at #1 without question.

Unfortunately this isn't the case.

Very few receivers in the history of the league have been worth #1 picks. They simply don't play a factor in enough plays to justify a #1 overall pick. I wouldn't mind him on the team, but not at #1.
