If his last name wasn't Sanders he'd be lucky to go in the 3rd.

DId you hear Jeremiah say that Sanders and Pickett had very similar strengths and weaknesses?  The second time the dog bits you..

Only team that could possibly take him now would be the Rams if they want to try him as a replacement for Stafford when he retires.

That's right....I forgot about that. That could indeed be a spot he could potentially land.

Fully expected the Broncos to take Hampton but relieved they didn't. Sean Payton deserves nothing but bad things.

Actually, it was a good pick. A smarter pick.

Cleveland got that extra pick--they could trade back into round 1--but I don't see the value.

Will be rather interesting to see who the Chargers take here. Their most common mock picks are all off the board (Loveland, Warren,  Kenneth Grant, other DTs).

No idea who they will get now.

I am guessing defense.

Gotta figure that Cleveland, NY and saints are talking to all the teams in late round one

They could--I wonder where the line for interest in him is?  It seems that there are early first or late day 3 QBs....I have no idea.

    • I will admit this- Kon doesn't look or play like a 19 year. Much bigger and filled out than I thought he was. Plus initiate the offense during his best quarter and he did make some good passes for FG attempts.   I watch NBA years ago and was a top 3 fantasy yahoo managers for years. Many times a player had like 30 points, it mostly came from one or 2 hot quarters. The others were 5 and 0, so his 16 point game is normal in that regard.    If Ball, bridges, and Miller allow Kon to be apart of the team, just depends on if he clicks of not. Another generic white guy comp popped in my head........he of hornet lore-Gordon Hayward 15 points 5 rebs 3.5 asst Maybe??
    • Here are a couple of links.   Wish I had seen this before this past weekend as appears they had a big fundraiser event last week. https://sites.google.com/vollminadvisory.com/thewilmingtonarenaproject/home https://www.wwaytv3.com/wilmington-native-leads-push-for-new-multi-use-venue-to-attract-professional-hockey-team/ https://portcitydaily.com/latest-news/2025/07/13/wilmington-nonprofit-fundraising-for-10k-seat-arena-to-lure-pro-ice-hockey-team/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61577145613291
    • Especially with no other major sports in the area other than UNCW basketball and soccer. It's a good 2 1/2 hour drive just to catch a collegiate football game. If this new arena were built I would hope it also includes an Adult League - I would join up and time allowing would be more than happy to help coach some youth teams. 😄
