Hear me out... Jaylin Noel in the 2nd.

Going in, I was holding on hope that would be my realistic dream outcome.  They would go all D but snag Noel.  He projects well into that slot/YAC role.

I mean, I wanted Warren but knew that had 0% chance of happening.  I thought the Noel thing had a legit shot since they brought him in for that top 30 (and assumed Tmac was largely due in a diligence in a trade down)

but yeah, they have to go defensive front in the 2nd now I think.

On a more serious note, Shadeur Sanders at 57.

how funny would it be if Deion's prized possessions ended up in Jacksonville and Carolina after all his talk of what he wouldn't allow to happen to them?

I hope we don't get goaded into making a move because of a run. That's how we ended up making a panic trade up and reach on DJ Johnson.

That's exactly what I was thinking of. We should have realized right then that Fitterer wasn't cut out to be a GM.

It's either pass rusher or secondary in round 2. Whichever you do not get in round 2 you have to get in round 3. After that it's hoping and praying you can find anyone who can contribute somewhere on the team.

I keep banging the Jordan Burch drum so probably safe to rule him out at this point.

I'm hoping they land Sawyer in the 3rd. He was the best player OSU had in my opinion and the reason their defense was dominant.

I think they want EZ, in order to do that they will have to trade up to the top of the 2nd. Probably need to offer 57 and a future 2nd  at least to do that

Pass on trading future picks. No on offering future pics. Stay put or use late round pics in THIS draft only.

    • Wide Receiver: Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers – 85.3 One of the more shocking developments of the 2025 NFL season has been the Carolina Panthers’ ascension to the top of the NFC South, which they achieved with Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers. Perhaps nobody has made a bigger difference than former eighth overall pick Tetairoa McMillan, who continued to be a steady presence in the Panthers’ offense. McMillan caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the win Tight End: Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers – 91.1 Evans only saw the field for 16 snaps, but he was efficient in his limited playing time. He caught all three of his targets for 23 yards on just six receiving snaps while also grading well in pass protection (72.2 grade) and as a run-blocker (68.4) Edge Defender: Nic Scourton, Carolina Panthers – 77.9 The former second-rounder out of Texas A&M has been a force along the Panthers’ defensive line, and he was a key contributor in Carolina’s huge win over the Buccaneers. Scourton recorded two stops as a run-defender and added another while in coverage. Scourton also tallied his sixth sack of the year while contributing another pressure to the mix Safety: Lathan Ransom, Carolina Panthers – 75.7 Another Carolina Panther on this week’s list, Ransom has typically been stronger in run defense — he carries an 85.2 grade in that field on the season. But Sunday against the Buccaneers was his best day in coverage. Ransom intercepted his only target, which wound up being the game-winner that put the Panthers in the driver’s seat in the NFC South
