Falcons Prank cost a few pennies

Not trying to be melodramatic but from a corporate standpoint there is a big push for data security and privacy pertaining to personal information.  Someone mentioned in the other thread about suing the kid but the only place there is possible money is him suing the Falcons organization for negligence related to the leaked personal information.

At best, Shedur makes some added bank and the Falcons look like fools while this circus plays out. At worst, he’ll get free credit monitoring for a year or two.

The seeing doesn't guarantee anything for sure. I thought his path would be blocked from civil action through the setup of the NFL and it's unions if anything.

to be fair a 100k fine is a HUGE chunk out of a coach income.  we think its just a number but thats a HUGE chunk out of someones yearly earnings

Not as huge as a civil suit tho...

The NFL should have someone prank call the son and offer him an internship as part of an NFL front office.

I can get behind this

meh, slap on the wrist when you’re worth billions.

If I'm Arthur Blank I'm going to that coach and being like "You know that $250k is coming out of your check, right?" Just on principle.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
