Bryce’s new look. He looks like a grown up

Yeah some of us said last year that he had so much room to improve he could be a lot better and still not be good enough.

He was a lot better in a handful of games and mediocre to impotent in the rest, and that isn’t good enough. So there you go.

38 year old Matthew Stafford put up a combined 831 yards and 6 touchdowns in two games in December and January against the greatest defense in the history of the galaxy.

The 2025 Seahawks defense would have gotten lit tf up by the elite QB's of the 2010's if a guy pushing 40 can give them fits like that.

I feel bad giving him $25m or so for one season because in my mind, he has not earned it. However, you have to know what you have in your hand and decide if you can still win the pot or its time to toss them back to the dealer.

I guess it was baked into the business of keeping him for the fourth year. These agents seem to think you have to be under contract for at least two years or you don’t have one.  I think that’ bullshit but they don’t ask me.

And the keeping him for the fourth year, given the lay of the land around the league and in the draft this year, QB wise, was not favorable to the idea replacing him.
But if he doesn’t turn in a 25 million dollar worthy performance this year they need to cut bait.

Me? I would have cut bait in 2024.

So "best defense ever" or nah?

best defense does not mean invincible.

you're trying to down play Seattle's defense and Matt Stafford to fit your narrative which is comical lmao.

The 2025 Seattle Seahawks defense, nicknamed "The Dark Side," is arguably one of the greatest in NFL history, ranking as the No. 1 DVOA defense and the 8th-best all-time since 1978. After winning Super Bowl LX, this unit is compared to the "Legion of Boom," with some analysts ranking their 2025 performance, which featured a league-low 17.2 points allowed per game, as superior.

It is a good defense. Ask Bryce.
Best of all time? Meh.

I mean great defense but every other QB put up at least 150 yards on them last season. 50 with a sub 3 ypa was just pathetic

    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
    • At least we have Mike Kay and his little buddy sidekick whoever to put you to sleep when suffering from insomnia. They're all useless unfortunately.
