Frank Reich had 3 timeouts and got the ball back with just over 2min left and the game tied at 20.

On 2nd and 7, he calls back-to-back passing plays instead of a screen or a run to wind down the clock. They punted to Hawai'i who was sitting on two timeouts. Reich sat on all 3 timeouts once Hawai'i got into field goal range which allowed them to kill clock and kick the game winning FG.

This was the offensive guru that switched the offense on a rookie QB twice. 

 

I'm gonna need some of the "no excuses" crowd to keep that energy for themselves this season if Bryce keeps looking like he did post benching.

Stanford probably should've won that game, all things considered. Not a great look for Reich.
