I'm sitting here watching a Manning look better as a runner than a passer 😄

It's way too early to judge him of course, but that's where he's at right now.

How can that be.  He looked fantastic last year against Southwest Texas State hair care and tire changing college.

But seriously, it is to early.  I don't understand the people who want to anoint him as the best when has barely played.    If he had a different last name, most of us would barely know who he is.

The gameplan is actually incredibly conservative..... problem is they are getting 0 out of their ground game.

Heck they just punted for 8 net yards 🤣

Yea it’s true but they need to stick with the run game. I just think what Sark is asking him to do against a very good Ohio state defense is still a lot

Arch looks absolutely terrible.

1st start on the road against the defending national champs, literally the hardest game you can start with. Sark isn’t calling a good game and the run game isn’t helping. Perfect storm for him to look like trash and I’m not surprised. If he looked like this against some trash team then light him up.

It's too early to call him anything at this point. I don't necessarily think he's bad, but he's not that good, and he's nowhere close to Manning good.

I'd agree the preseason Heisman favorite bullsh-t is because of his last name.

Yea that was just a bad throw and decision

Terrible. Texas has had 4 or 5 drives that started near midfield and have nothing.

OSU is defending champs but they lost 14 players in the draft, including a ton on the DL.

It looks like they don’t trust the heisman favorite. Maybe this is why he couldn’t beat out Ewers. Maybe he’ll pick it up but damn this is his third year in college. It feels like a game plan when you have to start a freshman or third stringer due to injuries.

I mean both defenses are some of the best if not the best two in the country. Main difference in the game is Ohio State scored on 4th and goal and Texas didn’t. Arch doesn’t look good but anyone saying he’s a scrub or a bust after literally his first game against a high quality opponent is just a hater. Sark doesn’t seem to have any answers either.

    • Not in same league. Caldwell just hit a 10.00 on the RAS. 2nd out of 3830 from 1987 onward.  https://x.com/MathBomb/status/2027885023387349047 Yeah I mean Louis had a sub 9.00 RAS. Still very very good, no doubt. Louis is small, no 2 ways about it. He is likely a sub package lb in nickel packages or specialized WLB. Be fine ST gunner to start for sure. 6 foot flat and 220lb is pushing it for a starting LB. At 10 to 20lbs less than the other LBs he'd better be closer to the top in most timed drills. He's gonna be challenged when some of the wrs in the class can matchup bigger stronger faster, much less TE in the run game.  Yeah instinct matter and he has them, but that size is a massive red flag compared to many of the other LBS in this class.    Rodriguez is the LB that really climbed this week from a pure grit guy to great flash with athleticism people wrote off cause he was a QB at first at UVA. 18.4mph in the backpedal. Production the last 2 years were great. I'd be thrilled with him as the future mike.   Hill likely moved out of 51 and into the top 45 picks ( Ravens at 45 I can't imagine don't bite if he makes it there). Honestly Hill imo is a 1st rounder and I'd be ok with him as he fits the MLB we have missed the last few years. People would crow it's a reach but he's top 30 all-time I'm RAS for a LB at 9.9+ . Plus he was big time in big games when he was healthy. And that br a big check: meds.
    • Miller, Melo, Coby, Moose, and Bridges all on the floor at the same time must be a nightmare for defenses lol. Switch one out for Kon and still a nightmare. Coby really does bring a true 6th man value and looks like he could start if Melo was out after only a few games of getting his feet wet.
    • Well I guess he should stop playing football. This was his defining moment and chance to prove he was generational and he failed. What a waste of football life..
