Lane Kiffin has to be pissed. Half his staff is still tied up at Ole Miss during a crucial recruiting/transfer portal window and Ole Miss beating UGA just puts more pressure on him to win immediately.

I don't put them high on my list of teams I want to see win but the storyline of them winning a title without him would be epic.

Especially if he(hopefully) whiffs repeatedly on it at LSU.

He made a bad decision but he's a bad guy. I'm pulling hard for ole miss to win the whole thing and him being fired within a few years

Well we are about to see how much of an ass hat Kiffen really is, apparently all of those assistants are now officially under contract and they are supposed to report to Baton Rouge this weekend to start hosting transfer portal players.  Ole Miss may not have a coaching staff against Miami, on top of that he got 500 grand since Ole Miss won last night while he was watching the LSU women’s basketball game

The fact he got LSU to pay him bonuses for Ole Miss winning games is so bananas.

LSU really is an insanely stupid school.

And he will leave LSU as soon as an NFL team comes calling again.  Would be funny as hell if it were this off season and he bolts before coaching one game for LSU!

I'd DeBoer had went to Michigan then Kiffin would've never coached a game at LSU. He's probably at Bama next year when they fire DeBoer.

Love that. Let him drive that program into the dirt.

Kiffin is obviously a very capable football coach but he's also completely devoid of any basic decency. He's gotta be wired wrong, a sociopath or something. He seems personable and likeable enough that people want to give him chances and believe he's changed even though they KNOW he's gonna stab them in the back the first chance he gets.

He counts Saban as one of his mentors, so that all tracks. That guy is a horrible human being, as well.

    • Russ worked.  I still vote Doug Flutie as a competent, sometimes really good starter when he came back from the CFL - and I maintain, I think he could’ve been that without going to the CFL, part of why he didn’t was because of the stigma the NFL has against smaller QBs to begin with.  But, both Flutie and Russ had above average to excellent athletic traits - be it arm strength, strength, elusiveness, etc.  and Kyler could’ve been right up there with him if he cared about football as much as he does Call of Duty and streaming.     the difference between those guys and Bryce?  Again, Bryce has almost zero desirable athletic traits you would want in an NFL QB.  He is below average in every category. And then to boot, as you said, if you’re below average in EVERYTHING physical, you HAVE to be damn near the best mentally and processing - and he proved to be even subpar in that category.  All of that to say, I will NEVER understand what anyone in our organization saw in him to not only draft him, but to trade up to do so and then give him 3 whole years to stink it up.
    • You were supposed to get me a ticket, what happened?
    • I think that plays a factor for LaMelo, among others. Obviously the biggest being that he just doesn't seem like a guy that will ever be healthy long enough to build around. Also, he still has some maturity issues. He will just basically take himself out of a game every few weeks by losing his poo about some call and then piling up frustration fouls or TO's. I think that goes back to his dad. He always built those kids to focus more on themselves than the game around them.   Okay, this was maybe the 4th game I have seen all or part of and I like him. Especially knowing that he wasn't a Lane Kiffin guy the whole time. That's a MASSIVE red flag for QB development. If he was available around the 3rd round or lower, I would absolutely be okay taking a flier on him. Promising prospect. Way more polished than someone like Malik Willis, IMO.
