Outside of Mendoza, crappy year to need a starting QB that isn't a complete project.  Ty Simpson is QB2 and he's got plenty of concerns.

The 2027 QB draft just got even deeper.

If we miss out on this QB jackpot because we are still on the fence about Bryce Young, I just might have to shelve my Panthers fandom permanently. I can't continue to cheer for folks suffering from self-imposed mental retardation beyond that.

Yeah, was coming in here to post this. Moore going back to school benefits us. So, if even just half these guys live up to the hype next season, if Bryce plateau's and we have another year that puts us in the 10-20 range, we'll still be able to grab a QB.

Can Raiola off tho since he is likely gonna redshirt with Moore coming back.

ESPN's desk almost all picking Miami.

Indiana by 21+ confirmed.

I haven't kept up with College football, but I seen a great rumor about Indiana HC being label as the a hot NFL HC. All sort of praise and I don't even know his name.....

This is incorrect on all counts. Cignetti is 64. He will not be on almost any NFL radars.

Especially considering his $12 mil/yr contract.

This QB draft looks very weak.

Moore, Mestermaker and maybe Maiava are NFL caliber guys.  The rest of that bunch are Day 2 to UDFA guys.

Shades of 2025. Everyone claiming it to be a strong draft based on guys that returned to school in a weak QB draft.

That's the draft you posted to an absolute T.

That does feel too old for this NFL that gone pedo age levels on HC. I seen one stats and forget what division, but all HC in the playoffs were under 46 years old. Mcvay started it and it seems other teams are having the results with ultra young HC.

Joe Brady maybe be a hire and I feel he's too young.

Cignetti is too old to be an NFL coach, nor should he really bother. He probably would have been a good one but he toiled away in lower level CFB for too long to be on NFL radars.

It's especially unlikely because he has never had any NFL experience of any sort.

I've only started, like 4 hours in draft pool...I still have my floaties on....

Thus far, huge help for the Panthers that I feel with 80% certain, in their first three picks will be a great group of OTs and edges. LB feels good too, even if you wait like I prefer.

I know this too, whatever formula/stats/guts/voodoo/pay-offs Panthers used for the 2025 drafting(plus the great UDFAS....) Just repeat that this year and I think you will land 2 starters in the first 4 picks along with decent depth.

A big portion of needs/wants match this draft class.

I maybe too positive tho....

    • Wow I can’t believe the panthers tried to trade up, failed, but still got the guy they wanted to trade up for. I wonder if anyone else has ever said that next you’ll tell me they had Hunter and Brazzell graded as first rounders.
    • I don’t think people are saying that picking up the option is a call for the pitchforks. We would have had to do things differently a couple of years back to make declining the option a valid move. We didn’t and here we are. People largely accept that. The pattern it adheres to, reinforces the nausea we feel when the idea of an extension, and at top of the market no less, comes up.  One that he hasn’t shown he deserves.   Same as he did not deserve to be drafted 1.1. Look at Pavia and what really is the difference? Bryce is a nice guy and Pavia is an asshole lol. They are both no margin for error non day one talents. One went undrafted.  Probably should have been drafted day three anyway. The other was way over drafted.
    • We hate losing. I don't know Bryce to hate him. His play as a QB, I absolutely hate. It's just not good enough. If there were a lottery held to select the order and all 32 starting QBs could be drafted as the starting QB for whatever team selected them, how long do you think it would be before Bryce's name was called? Top 10, top 20, bottom 8? Think about it.  For me, having never seen back to back games with franchise QB level performance in 3 years tells me what I need to know. We still need to be looking for our solution at QB.
