College referees for the National Championship (CFP) earn significant per-game fees, often $10,000 or more, plus travel, as they are paid like NFL-level officials for the biggest games, a big jump from lower-round bowl games ($3,000-$5,000) and regular season games, as they are compensated for their high-stakes, late-season involvement, not an annual salary. 

 

So refs only get 10k for doing a shitt job........what was the line for this game, pre-game and leading?
