In that situation, I'll take the kid having to run out there and make it on the fly. I said that once I saw them get set with time to spare at that point I may have called a timeout but the ref had probably already checked with Dabo to see if he was gonna call a timeout and may not have even been looking at him at that point. How mad you are over this is pretty funny though, so thanks for that entertainment.

Speaking of timeouts, why didn't Bill call one there.  Allowed 40 seconds to run off the clock we could've used for an end of the half drive and score.

If you have time to wait and see if they get set in time before deciding whether to call the timeout, then he didn't have to run out there and make it on the fly.
