I wasn't aware this was in the works from the team. That was nice. I hope they plan on getting Cam involved though. Doesn't seem right otherwise.

He probably turned it down. He’s still salty at Tepper.

If Cam didn't make an appearance for the piece the Observer did, no way he makes an appearance for this.

As nice as this may be, it just screams of riding on the coattails of what the Observer did.

Maybe so, but this will be much better given the team can actually use in-game and likely behind the scenes footage that the Observer simply did not have and couldn’t/wasn't allowed to access.

And as far as Cam goes - I wouldn’t be surprised if he just simply declined due to a variety of reasons - most noteably his current relationship with the team.

The 2015 story being told without Cam is incomplete, at best.

I watched documentary on the 2010 Auburn season and Cam wasn’t included in that either. I think he just doesn’t care for these things

Weirdly I don't really care for these either. I don't know if it's because how it ended or what, but I just don't feel the need to relive it through video. My favorite content from this era is when someone like Luke does a podcast and talks about it from his perspective.

I can't say I blame him. Between the league office allowing open season on him to be headhunted and the difficult journey he had with having to face the reality that he wasn't physically the same QB anymore I just don't think he wants to be fully enveloped in that kind of a reminder. He will reminisce with some of the guys from that group if they get together which is very rare but that's it. It's unfortunate. But it happens.

It feels like that season was both the best time for him but also the worst with how it ended. I honestly don’t care to revisit 2015 either because it just makes me feel like poo. Forever tarnished

Yes, 2015 was a tragedy IMO

Yeah the league changed Cam for the worse after that Super Bowl and they drove it home entirely in the 2016 season opener in Denver. They did not want him in any way shape or form becoming one of the faces of the league. In large part I think this was a contributing factor in how Cam went out of his way to stand out and be unapologetically himself. He was giving the league office the middle finger. And I say good. F*ck them.

Well said, I have parroted the same thing to anyone that would listen since. Watching football that year, you had everyone from high school players, college players, league players, male fans, female fans, little kids, and the elderly mimicking Cam. Everyone was paying attention especially after the Thanksgiving game. They went directly after him and McNabbed him out of the league when it was clear he was becoming the face of it. Instead of leaning in and making the money, they let the league be faceless for a few years while taking unprecedented measures to close the window on our run. From allowing a Broncos' fan to head the officiating crew in the Championship game, to scheduling the same two teams to start the following season, to allowing the league MVP to be targeted in games, to never showing any of the 2015 season's games except the last one on their network, they Men in Black neuralyzed the world regarding the Panthers. All that they left was a narrative that Cam was playing one on one with Von Miller and was scared to jump on a fumble.

Refs rigged SB 50 for Manning’s retirement

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
