You’re joking right? Guy has been here about 7 days and he was expected to play the most difficult position on the field from a mental standpoint. He actually outplayed Plummer. Better completion % QBR, no turnovers.

Your point is valid, and I see no reason Plummer should be in the NFL, but it's kinda like arguing which is the better car, a pinto or a gremlin.

Finishing up the game since all I got were the first three drives and the final one last night in the car.

Hearing Dan talk about how he wants to go into week 1 with guys healthy makes me think that Blackshear & Carter, who were both reported in boots after the game, are finding their way to the IR. DJ Johnson too?

If the over/under was the midrange of your prediction, I'd be tempted to drop significant change on under 8 wins.

Oh, from a betting POV so would I. That's where the value would be.

But from a real world on-field POV, I think 7 wins is only slightly more likely than 9.

    • Me too. I don’t like to advertise it much but I played it for a living for a lot of years. Other music too, to make a living. If you could call it a living. We should talk sometime. Bet we know some of the same people if you played in NC. I am SC but used to play all over up there. Years ago.
    • Bryce is undoubtedly mediocre to average at best in processing and decision making. He is in no way shape or form some mini Peyton Manning or a mental savant. And it is absurdly insulting that people are still simultaneously pretending otherwise while insinuating other QB's are basically mental midgets. Like man someone has to be really damn dug in to come post something like that 4 years in. The cope is real folks.
    • The NFL and ESPN had their merger doing this, idk if that's part of it or not.
