One good pick and a good UDFA pickup from two drafts. Not good, Dan.

I feel like the fan base is being overly critical right now because of how poorly we played.

People were touting Dan's ability to find gems recently.

XL isn't working out, but TMac and Coker looking good.  He also dealt Thielen for more than a lot of people expected given the circumstances, and utilized an extra roster spot by having a side deal worked with Refrow apparently.

He has done better than I expected given he was the right hand of the last regime and had that failing pizza place lol

TMac is going to have to save Bryce and the Panthers this season. They realized this way too late today but it was apparent immediately.  We somehow picked the two most unnatural WR’s I’ve ever seen on an NFL field in XL and previously Mingo.  That’s bad scouting.

Bryce 2nd and 1 INT was unacceptable for a franchise QB in year 3. He had no command of the offense today, he and the Center looked like they’d never played together before.

The consistent high snaps were definitely odd.  That is not on Bryce.

I like Dan, too. Big fan of having a former Pro Bowl LB be the GM. But his story has not been a successful one in any facet. Made one good trade, one good pick and one good UDFA pickup so far (could be two each of the last ones if Scourton/Thornton pan out).

The problem is, you view this in hindsight.  I remember people being pretty stoked about this year's draft.

Dan can't see the future.  The draft is a roll of the dice.

I think his picks have been more hit than miss so far.  I can't remember the last time we were excited about UDFA's like this either.  Norwell maybe?  That's a long time.

I think you're assigning your opinion to others in this case. The rookies have played one game and only one pick did anything of substance.

People aren't excited about guys like Ransom and Jimmy Horn Jr?  Etienne already looks solid to me too.

I feel like previous drafts weren't getting this type of review.  For example, Zavala was getting hate year 1 if I recall correctly.  We seem more optimistic about Dan's picks from what I have seen at least.

Horn inactive today. Ransom 1 tackle today.  Go troll somewhere else

Says the dude dressed as an actual clown.

I am talking the view of the player's potential at draft.  Dan can't see the future.  Go be negative somewhere else.

The discussion was about his drafting ability, and I was trying to illustrate the point that you can't judge his picks with hindsight.

If he was more hit than miss, we wouldn’t be getting blasted by a team that was 4-13 last year. Sorry, but Zavala, Horn and Ransom? They are backups at best on a team that’s not very deep. We sure seem to pick a lot of guys who can’t stay healthy.

Objectively, Morgan hasn’t done well so far. Our past two 1st rounders are our top 2 WRs and we scored 3 points in the first 3 quarters against a the 6th worst scoring defense of 2024.

For a GM to do well, we have to be drafting and signing impact players. He hasn’t done that.

The falcons game last year looks to have fooled me but I’m out.

when this dude plays bad, he just looks like he doesn’t belong in the nfl, the same damn issues arise everytime, one turnover seems to tank his confidence, the amount of low passing yards he’s produce in his starts is clear evidence.

bigger issues is me behind my virtual keyboard could see that, yet our front office decided not to bring in any real comp at qb this offseason or any season for that matter.

XL certainly isn't looking good, but TMac was exciting.  It's his FIRST game.

I feel y'all are being way too harsh right now.
