Lowkey hope that Tepper moves this team to OKC or some poo and the NFL in the Carolina's gets a fresh start. Would be more exciting than this dogshit.

Problem is if I remember Charlotte is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and he would have to decouple Charlotte FC which he would never do.

this needs to be the pinned thread until he shows a modicum of competence

I’m all for the thread but what can he really do right now. Firing Canales would just be premature and pointless. Evero and Bryce should be first tbh.

I for one want the fuging grass back!

He could sell them combined for like 8-9b, maybe even 10b dollars at a 7.2b valuation. Because of how quickly NFL teams are rising in valuation, same with MLS teams.

we have a top down problem which started the minute he got hired. He has systematically dismantled this team piece by piece since arriving. He has destroyed the team culture, our reputation around the league, our stadium and even tried to remove traditions.

His hirings have been nothing short of unmitigated disasters and those hirings have borrowed from the future time and time again to preserve their jobs in the short term. Not to mention the coaching and draft talent has been abysmal.

We are rotten to the core right now and it will take another clean rebuild and years of time to get back to being competent.

The problem is I don't trust him to do anything correctly anymore

Comment here to sign this statement.

When I saw the thread title my first insult was gonna be ‘carpet bagging mother fuger’.
Came in here to type that.

Since hes taken ownership seems we're always at square one.... one step forward 3 steps back.

Remember when he said he would take a year to learn the business side and a year to learn the football side?
He was supposed to be straight 6 years ago. Ready to take on the NFL.

Wasted three years some great draft slots on an obvious folly.

Carpetbagging motherphucker

That felt good.

    • Just imagine tepper didnt buy the panthers and the other group who wanted the team did we would be in way better shape
    • As painful as it might be, you’ve got to ride it out with Canales (and to a lesser extent Bryce) this year. Every other option is worse. Bryce you can bench but only once you’re sure you’re moving on. Canales you have to give enough rope to hang himself as any talented prospective replacement candidate with options will be concerned about job security.  That said, Canales has done nothing to earn next year. If things continue to go this way, the biggest bargaining chip you’ll have to entice a new coach is that you will get his guy with a high draft pick. If you’re considering keeping Canales another year, you have to weigh that against (once again) sticking a new coach with a QB he didn’t draft  if Canales doesn’t pan out. That also means as CarolinaLivin mentions two different systems in two years for a new qb. That’s repeating the same mistakes.
    • Tell me what Canales has shown you to make you want another year with him.    Convince me of why my next QB should get the Bryce treatment and have 2 HCs in two seasons.
