And I'm talking about you derailing your own thread in your initial post. Speaking of being daft...

Your cope is constantly getting bent out of shape about people being critical of Bryce. Look around. People are shitting on Tepper, Morgan, Evero, Canales, the LBs, Moehrig, and on and on but oddly you only take issue with criticisms of a certain individual.

By all means, be critical of Bryce. I don't run into the 10+ threads y'all create after every L to complain about him. I don't understand how you can jump to that conclusion outside of being hurt yourself.

Since you still want to try and misrepresent, I'll say it one more time clearly for you and anybody else that just can't stand the idea of looking at the other starters on the field: Bryce hasn't played well and does not look like the answer at QB for the Panthers. No disagreement there. The disagreement has always and will always be over the ridiculous demonization of the player + refusal to acknowledge not only what he has done well (let's not pretend he didn't show that he could develop) but also what needs to improve on the team besides him.

Do... do you not understand what derailing a thread is? That tweet you giggled over literally lists PFF stats... in a thread about PFF grades from the game? How is that derailing the thread vs. you carrying on? Good Lord, if only Bryce Young were taller maybe you'd be able to better figure it out.

If you were simply posting the tweet or talking about the content of the tweet, sure. But no... you gotta throw in your bullshit and try to make it about your perception people are unfairly picking on Bryce.

I just think it's comical that while you constantly bitch about other people derailing conversation you're literally doing the exact same thing to your own thread. I mean, keep it up. It's entertaining. We need entertainment.

Demonization is an absurd term to apply in this discussion in relation to Bryce Young.

Demonization would be how fans still outwardly rooted against Cam Newton even after he looked like a generational talent earned rookie of the year honors and MVP. This is not that. At all.

All that is happening currently are people applying expectations of a first overall pick. Even if we lose even if we aren't good show us flashes of what a #1 pick is supposed to do. Elevate YOUR team. And we are not seeing that.

So basically Bryce is missing guys left right and center because the OL has injuries. Got it.

That's why he played so well in previous week's and this was really his first bad game!

Or, is this just 2025 Bryce?  It looks a lot like early 2024 Bryce and 2023 Bryce. Maybe late 2024 Bryce was the anomaly.

His rookie season bought him forgiveness on my end, but in year three he cannot show regression to that basement-level performance he could barely string together. Yea, things haven't exactly been fair, but very few QBs end up in situations like Mahomes. Hell, even Stroud is struggling this season as the Texans for some reason thought that the best thing to do was detonate their OL.

I don't think the team is in a good enough place to drop a rookie QB in. Best case scenario imo, they further build the roster during the offseason and march the team to a top-10 pick behind Bryce in the last year of his deal. If we're picking in the top-10 again, it means Canales isn't the offensive-mind that Tepper thought he was. Grab a reliable vet if there's one available and let the new rookie sit for a year.

Last thing I want to do is grab another top QB prospect only to fire the HC after their rookie season. That doesn't exactly go very well for anybody.

Yea, I'm going to throw bullshit the same way you and others throw bullshit daily. You still think I care about folks "picking" on Bryce when I've already clarified that it's because when trying to discuss anything not related to Bryce you and others like you come in with a boner to exclusively talk about Bryce. Hell, look at this exchange. Chandler Zavala posted a 0.0 pass block grade and all you can do is try to make it seem like it's a distraction from Bryce. That's a crazy obsession on your end.

Seeking entertainment via purposefully misrepresenting somebody on a message board says quite a bit about how well things are going for you on your end. As I'm so affectionately told: I hope things get better for you.

This thread is talking about the grades, which includes Bryce's. I'm referencing a thread that you personally derailed the other day that had nothing to do with Bryce. You can't possibly be that daft.

As for as excuses for Bryce... name them? I can't wait to hear that playing his rookie season behind the 6th-string LG and 7th-string RG with DJ Chark as WR1 are "excuses."

I've already stated he played poorly and has not played well enough to have his bonus option picked up. How is that cope?

Aren't you the same dude trying to dunk on Stroud in a fuging adam theilen thread?

I didn't realize Brady even played yesterday

Apparently he came in for Walton but then when the back-ups went in he sat?

I'm trying to understand how they're visualizing using him, but I haven't figured it out yet. Seems like they're always assuming that there will be an injury so they need to have him available... only to plug in somebody else?

Are the two things mutually exclusive? Bryce has been bad. Stroud hasn't been much better since his rookie year. Richardson is a bust. The answer to the QB question in 2023, it turns out, was: none of the above.

I'm not misrepresenting anything. You just seem to have a pretty stunning lack of self awareness that you're literally doing the same thing you complain about.

I don't "think" that you care about people picking on Bryce you very blatantly obviously DO.

Keep slinging those poo reactions buddy. LOL

They need to fire the PFFtards they hired along with the other staff in the offseason.

I think real football people could look over their made up numbers online and figure out whats useful and what is just their opinions.

I watched enough of the game this week to not care about PFF and their BS.

I'm not at all opposed to having number crunchers on staff but it just needs to be part of the overall process. My concern with Tepper is that with his background outside of football and the comments he's made in the past about analytics I think he might be prone to putting way too much stick into the number crunching. I get it, everyone is looking for ways to draft better because it's a crap shoot in a lot of ways and there's busts and steals in every draft class but you're never coming up with a perfect formula and PFF seems to have a bad habit of instead of acknowledging misses and trying to tweak their system they'll just resort to mental gymnastics and try to convince people that their eyes were lying and that guy who played like ass was actually pretty good

    • Especially if you're wearing corduroys.
    • I think about the only thing you can do is when they go empty in some of his heavy WR sets.....trot him out there for those looks and run a crosser for him and give him a shot if he has room to run.   I mean if we are attempting to set him up for success. Dude is just so small and inexperienced.  You can't have scenarios where he could be forced into run blocking and he most definitely isn't ready for life on the outside.   I was hoping we could phase him in w/ Renfrow late this year but it doesn't look like Canales can adapt his O to that type of slot WR (and Bryce does struggle w/ throws to small guys it appears).  I think odds are Jimmy would deal w/ a bad ball worse than Renfrow, just in terms of personal safety.
    • And even in baseball they already went full circle.  Everybody figured out analytics was the way to go, and now everybody's making decisions the same way.  So now what differentiates you as a team if you're just crunching the numbers like everyone else?  Oh yeah like actual knowledge of the sport and experience with what works and what doesn't.  So ultimately it's circled right back to old guys sitting in a room talking about who's got a hotter girlfriend.
