it was a big second half game but Bryce Young probably threw for more first half yardage vs Green Bay than Dallas.

and Bryce wasn't just hitting coverage busts for guys 5-10 yards open vs GB.  Probably his strongest day with the intermediate throws of his career.

Was looking at the box, play by play. 1st half.

I think 113 yards passing no TDs no picks. A 30 yarder included, can’t figure if it was a short one with YAC or downfield.

Team had ten points at the half.

20 in the second half. Much more yardage too, he ended with around 300.
312 two 4th quarter TDS no picks https://www.espn.com/nfl/boxscore/_/gameId/401547617

1st half was not horrible at all and better than his norm but I think I am sticking with the second half assessment. Where it was more impressive and productive.

I'd wager it would be hard to find a game where he was better intermediate (10-20 yards) than that GB game.  11 completions and 2 scores at intermediate depth.

That's not an excuse. That's just facts. BY absolutely needs to be more consistent, but there really is a lack of speed on this offense. Love to see more Jimmy Horn to correct that.

Maaaaaan... Jimmy's got a different type of speed that the offense has needed for a few seasons now. The sooner he can win the trust of the coaches, the better.

If he can’t be good there he can’t be good.

I think we kill them personally, our defense is playing way too well for Fields to overcome

I mean, we have shown some defensive improvement in areas......but we are allowing an average of 27 pts a game during this "dominant" 2 week window.

Jets have a less traditional rush attack and Fields isn't going to be trying to take it to the outside corners.  Fields being worse of a QB in theory could make him more problematic.  His runs aren't going to be into our DTs and he likely is going to play heavy in the pass game to the TEs/RBs (our weak spot)

I'd say it's a coin flip game.  One team likely loses this one more than the other wins it.

The QB is spotting them points every other game and Dallas is the number one offense.
The rushing yards allowed totals are impressive the last two weeks.

I'd bet you a dollar Long hasn't watched 3 Panther Bryce Young games in his life lol.   Unless you are a Tampa, Falcons, Saints fan....no one outside Carolina has.

That t was my reaction too. How many stinkers has he sat through before forming that conclusion?

I mean maybe he is an NFL QB but what I have seen he is a part time NFL QB, on his good days. But he doesn’t have that many good days.

It ain’t his ceiling as much as it is his floor that is the issue.

PS, Chris Long would not have been afraid of him even a little. He’d be salivating.
