thought sure DC said Lewis was out in his presser and that started a feeding frenzy with Person and other reporters questioning  who would start in Lewis’ place

Shame that bye week is week 14. Lewis has had issues all season, mostly shoulder i believe   Extra week might help him. Almost willing to bet off season surgery.

I just don't think this O-line is capable of protecting long enough to take constant deep shots. You could have your dream QB back there and it wouldn't matter because he'll just get sacked - or taken out like Burrow - or he'll have to scramble out of there. I feel a lot of other teams are in a similar boat which is why even guys like Josh Allen are going with a lot more shorter passes nowadays.
