I loved the guy and was really pissed when he was traded (wasn’t he traded?) And it took us until Gettleman to seriously address the position. Which got me to loving Gettleman out of the gate.

I was here to remember that Jenkins had trouble keeping his weight down and was trashing his own teammates. Can't say I was that upset when we finally traded him. Given the Jets really only got one good season out of him before he flamed out, trade was the correct one in retrospect.

At least from a likability perspective, Brown is better than Jenkins and it's not even close.

Never heard about the teammates thing but later I read him saying JR or Fox was having him monitored, followed around town something like that and he got pretty upset about it.

What? You weren't thrilled with the Sione Fua/Terrell McClain combo?

Those two are the reason we have Derek Brown. Hurn-Dogg v2.0 saw how Star and KK turned the defense around overnight and said, I’m not making THAT mistake again.

Horn is a fuging baller.  And funny, prolly half the board wanted to get rid of him before the extension.

Half the board was worried about injury history and rightly so. He's a top corner when healthy but paying a top tier contract for a guy that had missed half his pro career was and still is a large risk. We paid on potential, which is largely what the Panthers have done and it's bitten us in the ass quite frequently. I think the contract should have been less because he hasn't shown durability, but that's irrelevant now. He balls out the next 4 years, the contract is worth it. He gets injured and is out half the games, it wasn't. Time will tell the true value of the contract.

I remember watching a game I think vs Dallas at a bar so it might have been a Thursday night, but I think it was Nick Hayden just getting his ass handed to him and it was so depressing.
